You use Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 together with Microsoft BizTalk Adapter 2.0 for mySAP Business Suite. When Microsoft SAP Adapter 2.0 generates a proxy by using ECC 6.0, the application fails. Additionally, you receive an error message that resembles the following error message:

Event ID: 5754
Source: BizTalk Server 2006
Message sent to "SAP" Adapter suspended at send Port "SendPortName" of URI "sap://AS:". Error Info: Incorrect field length for 'Remote Function Call'.
Message ID: {63C0CEA1-57F4-467F-8380-B4714B99C2ED}
Instance ID: {70D70FC8-21BF-4C2C-B280-710846EBDF4F}

The problem may occur when a schema that has a DECIMAL element type is generated. However, the equivalent field in SAP has a QUAN data type. The issue does not occur when you make a call by using the CHAR element type.
