RestrictAnonymousregistry value is set to 1 and the Guest account is enabled on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based file server, Windows Explorer on the Windows XP-based client computer cannot show the contents of a share on the Windows 2000-based file server, even if you have permission on the share. When this problem occurs, you receive the following error message:
This problem is caused by an unnecessary call to WNetGetResourceInformation.
