If WebDAV publishing is enabled, ISAPI extensions may be loaded in-process even if they are configured to run out-of-process. This problem only occurs if a GET request with the translate f: header followed by an ordinary GET request is sent to the ISAPI extensions.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4.
