After you resume a Windows Vista-based computer from sleep or from hibernation, you have one or more of the following problems:
The best way to fix this problem is to obtain the latest Windows Vista service pack. If there is some reason why you cannot install the latest Windows Vista service pack, the next best thing is to obtain the hotfix that is mention in this article. If for some reason you cannot install the hotfix either, there is a workaround that you can use to work around this problem. If you decide to use the workaround, we can perform the steps for you. Of course, you can also perform the workaround steps yourself if you would rather do that. To have us perform the workaround for you, go to the "Fix it for me" section.
