This article describes how to move a personal folder file to another location. You can move your personal folder file to either your local hard drive, or to a network share.
NOTE: Your personal folder file has a .pst file name extension.
To move a personal folder file, you must follow the procedures in this section.
Identify the Name and Location of Your Personal Folder File
Copy Your Personal Folder File
Point Outlook to Your New Personal Folder File
Close and Delete the Old Personal Folder File
