Summary

You install Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 on the same computer with Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003, with Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007, or with Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2010. Then, you install an add-in in PowerPoint 2002. When you do this, the add-in is also available to PowerPoint 2003, to PowerPoint 2007, and to PowerPoint 2010.

The reverse is also true. When you install an add-in in PowerPoint 2003, Powerpoint 2007 or in PowerPoint 2010, the add-in is also available to PowerPoint 2002.

More information

In Windows Vista and Windows 7: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns
